About Me

Corissa J. S. Gold, MFA, LPC-S, ATR-BC

I am an Artist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Board-Certified Art Therapist and Mentor.

My practice bridges art and psychology, honoring life’s milestones—past and present, the personal and the collective. Through creating, I heal, connect, support, and remember who we are: storytellers with purpose.

I was fortunate to discover my life’s calling early, and for more than five decades I have devoted myself to cultivating this work—within myself, my art, and my therapeutic practice with others. I believe we communicate and come to understand through narratives; our stories help us remember, evolve, connect, and dream. I also recognize that stories can limit, distort, or harm. Storytelling, while profoundly connective, requires authenticity, responsibility, and care.

Expression and therapy, like life, are not about quick fixes, but about evolving our understanding of self in relationship. Through a collaborative and compassionate process, we listen for what is needed and move toward greater clarity and integration. I hope you feel inspired to continue deepening your own journey, and I welcome the opportunity to connect.
