Murals & Paintings
Coming Soon!
I’ve always loved using canvas as a canvas, but using walls as a canvas unlocks another level creativity and intention. What I like to do with murals is incorporate plants, which comes from a connection to tobacco plants. The best way to describe it is a cellular memory to these plant forms. These paintings are not rooted in trauma per se, but are using the same pathways of generational memories. While trauma is often transferred, these paintings are also positive.
Why do I know what it feels like to walk through early morning, dewey grass in Connecticut? I’ve never done that - but I feel a far deeper connection to that experience that is often indescribable, except through my interpretation of these plants and the history and emotions they evoke.
